A little of topic

So I haven't told you, but I have plumped up a little. Actually a lot. You probably saw it on my videos and of course the photos from Citifield. So on Sunday with the thoughts and hopes of an improved life and well being I started a detox / cleansing. I am going on 4 full days of not eating. I have basically been living on water, juices, vegetable soup broth made by my wife and specially made vegetable protein shakes. And now How I am feeling, The truth is there are moments, but I have not felt better for a while. I am using something called the Martha Vineyards Diet by Dr. Roni. Deluz. I heard about it Howard Stern. it is hard and as long as I keep at it. I think it is gonna be great.........

Little league time of year

I am so excited as tomorrow I get to hold my first practice of the upcoming season with my son's new team. I was fortunate enough again to get a lot of the kids I have had in the past. They are great ballplayers and even better kids. I love coaching. It is one of my favorite things in the world. It combines my love of baseball and one of the loves of my life my son. So my quotes today will be more geared towards baseball. Enjoy them because they make me happy.

"Whoever wants to know the heart and mind of America had better learn baseball."

Our recent trip to Citifield

I was very fortunate this past week to go to Citifield. The new state of the art home of the NY Mets. As most of you know I am an obsessive Mets fan and season ticket holder. So as such I was allowed a tour of the stadium. Unfortunately since it is still a construction zone, I was unable to bring my son with me as he is not yet 18. So his replacement was my life long friend Steve. We have been going to Mets games together since the young age of 8. Steve still tells the story of how my family forgot to pick him up when he was 8 and he rode his bike over my house with his Mets helmet and finger and sat on our stoop for 2 hours before he realized maybe we weren't coming back. Now although his been 27 years he is still pissed. He even brought this up during his best man speech at my wedding 11 years ago. What's really scary is it comes up at least once a year at the office. Steve is also a wonderful photographer and does almost 125 weddings a year for Patken. Now looking at these photos you realize we were like kids in a candy store. Although we acted very mature other then forgetting our coats and walking around the stadium in 35 degree weather for almost 2 hours. Thanks Steve. Well here are our photos. We did everything but put the camera on self timer.

Our new torch light email

I am so proud of our new torch light. We worked very hard at creating this product. It is the perfect light for all facets of photography. It allows you to match and perfect the art of color balance. Never color correct. Just match the light. let me know what you think of the video. Also I know my hair makes me look like a criminal and oh yea., I put on few pounds.

Canada AAAAAAAAAA!

We just returned home from Vancouver and a great program at Image Quest 2009. I will display some photos soon. i want to send a special thanks to all the attendees. They were a great group eager to learn. It was a rough one. We flew out on a 8:25 flight out of NY on Sunday night during the start of the storm. It was not the most pleasant of flights. It was like being on a roller coaster. But the plane stayed in the air. There were a couple of times I thought we were done as the it rocked like a boat. Then we landed in Seattle at 12:00am and had to drive 2:30 hours to Vancouver. Don't ask! We got stuck at customs as Baby Gorilla (Jessie) Stomped and moaned. That was exciting. By the time we got to the hotel which had the most awesome rooms and beds, it was 3:15 in the morning. A beautiful King with all Down comforters and pillows. i was in heaven. But only for a few hours. We shot all over the place with our new Torch light. Got some great stuff. Andy and Laura were terrific as usual. Then we ran late because our new Canadian friends were taking pictures and having me sign things. I felt like such a celebrity. Haha! That we had to drive the 2:30 hour drive and customs in two hours to make our flight. Let's just say the space shuttle at warp speed had nothing on me. I was lighting and we made it with time to spare and oh yea the flight got delayed. So the flight through the night I think was good because I slept with thenew Jetblue Pillow I brought for $7.00. I know great Story Doug. The good news is I am done for a little while, I think, I hope, Maybe, ok we'll see. We will have some photos soon. i need a Disney vacation and oh yea 43 days till Mets Home opener.

Let's Go Mets
